Sixth Form: Physical Education

Subject Overview

A Level Physical Education is split into theoretical and practical modules.  In the theoretical modules students will cover a range of social cultural and scientific areas over the two year period.  They will be taught using a wide range of methods by experienced and dedicated staff.

In the practical modules students will be assessed in their chosen activities (see below).  They are also required to perform an oral coursework task in Years 12 and 13 relating to the analysis of performance.
Physical Education has many cross curricular links and life skills embedded throughout it's content.  It is a popular and successful choice for both Year 12 and 13.
