The Sixth Form and Staff Book Club are now reading ‘'Levels of Life’  by Julian Barnes as our book club book, reviewed by ‘The Guardian’.External link

All staff and Sixth Formers are welcome to join us at our next meeting.

Pure Potential Conference, Tuesday 25 June

Year 12s can book themselves to attend the Pure Potential Conference on Tuesday 25 June at Aston University.

The Day is broken up into 3 workshops:

  • Student Life and Student Finance Workshops
  • Career Workshops - Employers from medicine, law, teaching, retail, etc to give presentations on a "Day in the life of ..."
  • Plenary Sessions - covering personal statements, choosing a course/university, communication skills.

Our Commitment to Success

Thank you for your interest in the Heart of England Sixth Form.  We hope the information available here gives a flavour of what we have to offer.

Our Sixth Form students have set a very high standard of achievement in all courses in recent years.  In anticipating the increased variety of courses offered in colleges and universities and in reflecting changing employment opportunities, we have continued to expand the range and level of courses available.

We firmly believe we offer tremendous opportunities to every student to fulfill his or her potential.  The Sixth Form Tutor team offer guidance and help whenever needed.  You, as a student, will be encouraged to work diligently, develop independence, self-confidence and an awareness of others and in return we expect a high level of responsibility and commitment in the Sixth Form Centre, school and community.
